WBBC is dedicated to quality camping for people of all ages regardless of background. Our goal is a Christ-centred program conducive to spiritual, physical and social development. Established in 1944, West Bank Bible Camp is supported by the Southern Saskatchewan Mennonite Brethren and other interested churches. All camp fees go directly to the support of the summer camp program. The remaining costs of the summer, capital expenditures and improvements are solely dependent upon the free will donations of individuals or groups. W.B.B.C. is a non-profit organization.
2011 Camp Review
Well, another summer of camp life has come to a close here in the valley where West Bank Bible Camp is located. This summer has been one of abundance where God’s hand has been at work in so many ways that, as a staff, we can do nothing but thank Him, giving Him all the praise, glory and honour for all that He has done. Throughout the course of the summer the kingdom of God was expanded as sixty three campers gave their lives to the Lord for the first time while many others made recommitments. It was a blessing to watch campers grow up in the course of a week through the confidence achieved in their skills, the relationships built within their cabins and the spiritual decisions made in chapel and cabin devotions.Throughout the summer we were blessed by so many staff and volunteers who willing gave their time, energy and love to serve the Lord in this summer ministry. We were blessed to have amazing cooks, hard working maintenance workers, gentle gardeners, a proficient office lady, caring cabin leaders, chapel speakers and the list goes on and on and on. Campers may never see the impact that staff and volunteers have on their camp experience, but it is because of these blessings in disguise that came in the form of staff and volunteers, that they-the campers- are able to fully take part in everything that West Bank Bible Camp has to offer. We are looking forward to serving with these servants of the Lord next summer and would love to have you come join the staff/volunteer family.
Jerry Dennill, the camp’s director, always says that “God is good all the time, and all the time God is good” and how true this is. God has been faithful to both His camp and His servants this summer as they have worked extremely hard to serve Him with all that they are, that He may receive all glory, praise and honour that is due to Him. Please continue to pray for this ministry as we know God has great things in store for it in the future. Keep your eyes and ears open for upcoming camps/events in the upcoming calendar year.
